District Selection Committee exams begin today
Exams for DSC 2008, the largest ever recruitment drive in the state to fill up 52,675 teachers’ posts, will begin on Friday in 2,693 centres.
A total of 5,99,649 candidates have applied for the exams which will be conducted till May 31.
For the first time, the department of school education has made arrangements to release the results within two weeks and complete the entire recruitment process in a month.
On the first day, examinations for secondary grade teachers will be held from 10.30 am to 1 pm and for language pandits and physical education teachers from 2 pm to 5 pm
