on Kingfisher plane</title><content type='html'>&lt;div style="text-align: justify; font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;In the most serious security lapse at an Indian airport in several years, a crude explosive found its way into the cargo hold of a Kingfisher aircraft that flew from Bengaluru International Airport to Thiruvananthapuram Sunday morning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The “bomb”, a round metal object the size of a cricket ball and filled with some 15-20 gm of gunpowder, was found when cleaning staff went into the cargo hold minutes after all 27 passengers that had flown on the aircraft had deplaned at Thiruvananthapuram airport. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made a “no objection certificate” (NOC), issued by the state government, mandatory to set up new engineering, pharmacy, MBA, MCA and M.
